This help article shows you how to create an API key within Binance. You can use this key to connect your account, and automatically import your transactions.
CryptoTrader.Tax only needs "Read-Only" or "View" access to import your trade history. This permission does not give access to your private keys nor the ability to move your funds. Learn more about API access in this article here.
Update - As of 2/27/2020 The Binance API Importer will now automatically import your dust conversions.
Navigate to your account.
After sign in, select your profile icon in the top right corner, and select "API Management" from the dropdown.
You will be prompted to create a new API key. Enter a label for your key, and click "Create". (This can be anything)
Enter your 2FA code and this will appear. Navigate to your email.
Open the email from Binance, and click "Confirm Create"
You'll be taken back to Binance where you'll see this screen showing your new API key. We want to edit this. Click "Edit Restrictions"
De-Select "Enable Trading", then click "Save". Enter your 2FA code. (Remember, CryptoTrader.Tax requires read only API access. You do not need to grant CryptoTrader.Tax permission to enable trading.)
Now copy your API Key and Secret Key into the CryptoTrader.Tax page seen below. (Note: Binance will only show you the Secret Key this one time)
Enter Into CryptoTrader.Tax
After you have generated your API key, input it into the Binance section of CryptoTrader.Tax, and click the Import Your Trades button.
