How to automatically import your trades by connecting your Uphold account

CoinLedger only needs "Read" or "View" access to import your trade history. This permission protects your accounts. Learn more about API access in this article here.

Step-by-Step Import Instructions

Step 1:
Click on the Sync Transactions button to go to your Uphold account.

Step 2:
After clicking the button, it will take you to the Uphold website where you can sign in then authorize CoinLedger to import your trades. Once signed in, click on Authorize to grant read-only access to your trading history.

Step 3:

Enter your email address and Password.

At this point, you may receive an email from Uphold requesting authorization, in that case simply press Yes, it's me.

Step 4: Enter 2-Step Verification

Step 5:

After clicking continue, it will take you back to CoinLedger To start the trade importer, click on the Sync Transactions button.

Step 6:
After the importer completes, you will see this notification telling you how many trades were imported or if your trades are all up to date. Once you see this, you may continue on to the next step.
