As of 2/15/2021, Exodus made a breaking change to their Transaction History file CSV export which is preventing certain Exodus CSV's to be imported into CryptoTrader.Tax.
This issue is being caused by an invalid "exchange" record on effected customer CSV files that do not contain the necessary INAMOUNT / INCURRENCY / OUTAMOUNT / OUTCURRENCY values to report a trade.
The CryptoTrader.Tax team has reached out to Exodus multiple times requesting a fix, but none has come yet.
What you can do
To help expedite this issue, you should:
1. Email [email protected] with the following message:
I am currently trying to complete my taxes but am blocked because Exodus is generating an invalid "exchange" record on my CSV file without all the necessary INAMOUNT / INCURRENCY / OUTAMOUNT / OUTCURRENCY values needed for me to create the trade.
I have attached my transaction history file with this issue.
Right now this is completely blocking me from finishing my taxes with CryptoTrader.Tax.
