Note: Due to limitations from Binance.com, this file import method only pulls in spot trading activity from your Binance account. This file import method will not import crypto purchases made directly from a debit card, credit card, or bank account (ACH) or distributions like staking or mining rewards. If this limitation effects you, you will need to add these transactions manually.

Step 1:
Log in To Your Binance Account

Step 2:

Navigate to the Trade History page and click the Export Recent Trade History link:

Note: Make sure Trade History is selected. Binance offers lots of file types, but it is only the Trade History file that is compatible with our importer.

Step 3:

Click the Beyond 3 Months option and export 4 files for each year of trading with the following date ranges for each year of trading.

  • January 1st - March 31st

  • April 1st - June 30th

  • July 1st - September 30th

  • October 1st - December 31st

Step 4:

You will receive a file in .XLSX format. Navigate to the Binance tab on CryptoTrader.Tax and drag each of your XLSX files into the blue box to import your transactions.

Note: It's important not to open the file before you import it as Excel can cause formatting changes to the file that prevent it from importing.
